Text: Ephesians 3:18

Introduction:

• From the verse 14 to 21 we find Paul's prayer to the Ephesians.
• The theme of the letter is: The new life of believers, now united to Christ.
• Ephesians 3:14 "...I kneel..."
  The Jews used to pray standing up. Pray on your knees was a sign of a deep emotion.
  Luke 22:41 . Jesus knelt when praying.
• Ephesians 3:17 . Paul prays that they will experience God's love in all his width, length, height and depth.
• Where did Jesus demonstrate all this love? On the Cross.

• Mark 16:15 "preach to all creatures"
• This love reached us when he ordered to GO. We were reached by God's love.
• Even when a lot people are being saved, more people can still be save.
• Luke 14:15-23 . "Still have room." Luke 14:22

• Ephesians 1:4 "...before the foundation of the world..."
• Since the expulsion of the Eden until the last moments of Jesus's return, it's time to accept Jesus as Savior.
• Illustration: A 48 years old man, in the day of rain, walked in the field and said: God, you have 3 minutes to kill me.

• Philippians 2:5-8 . Divine and human.
• Jesus in his humanity bore the cross, did not use any divine sources to get away from it.
• Matthew 26:53 . Had an army of angels, but didn't use it.
• The cross is a symbol of union between the divine and the human being.
• He got away of his majesty to be our Savior.

• I Peter 2:24 .
• God's love for us is deeper than the nails in his hands.
• Suffer physical pain and spiritual, without sin, pay for our sins.

Conclusion:

• The love of God express in the cross.
  The width: Reaches all people.
  The length: Reaches all times.
  The height: Brings Christ to us.
  The Dept: Shows Christ's suffers for loving us.
