Good News - (12/25/05)

Subject: Good News.
Text : Luke 2: 8 -11

Introduction.

- It's difficult to hear good news on TV, newspapers or from people's mouth.
- The angels brought great news.
- Those news have no longer been spread.
- What movie title would fit the infant Jesus best?
- "They forgot about me", for sure.

01.GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY

- Micah 5:2. 700 years have passed since this prophecy, the Word has been fulfilled.
- God controls the history.
- Moses' prayer: Psalm 90:1-4
- The Word of God through the prophet Isaiah. 55:8-9

02.GOD'S MIRACLES.

- Luke 1:30-35. Maria's pregnancy.
- Luke 1:36-39. Elizabeth's pregnancy.
- John would come first, preparing the way for the Lord Jesus.
- Matthew 2:13 Jesus' life is spared. He was marked to die.
- A miracle today: Jesus in our heart, being our Savior.

03.PEOPLE'S FAITHFULNESS.

- Maria. Luke 1:38
- Joseph Matthew 1:18-24
- Simeon . Luke 2:29. He believed in the Savior's coming. Ready to die.
- And what about us? Has the Church announced the Good News faithfully?
- Which Christmas do we announce? The false or the true one?

Conclusion
