Text: Exodus 3: 10-11 Introduction - There are two types of fear. The real one and the imaginary one. -The real one takes place during a danger situation. -The imaginary is the product of our minds. - During birth the child shows two fears: 01 . Fear of the loud noise. 02 . Fear of falling. - Later the adults help, teach thousands of other fears. - Therefore we have the fear of driving, of crossing the streets, of answering the phone... - We are afraid to live and afraid to die. - In the text, Moses was very afraid. - Why? Exodus 2: 11-12 He acted before the time. - Exodus 2: 13-14. He acted on his own strength. - What did he do then? He runs away. Exodus 2:15. He was threatened.
A) The fear takes Moses to the desert. - Exodus 3:1. Now he is a shepherd of goats, which is a humiliation for someone who was raised in a palace, in the Egyptian culture. - Any relation with your life? - Exodus 7:7. He is an eighty year old man. - Is there any benefit in the desert?
- Each one of us has its own desert. - What did Moses learn in the desert? He became less dependent on himself and more dependent on the most powerful one. - Illustration. Hagar in the desert ( Genesis 21 ) - God: “ I will take care of Hagar”
B) Fear is an experience of all.

01. Prof Leonard of the University of Wisconsin For 35 years, he never got away from his house more than 5 blocks. 02. Franklin Rooselvet said in 1933. “The only thing we should fear is our own fear.”
- One day we fail and then we get scared. (Business,- marriage- friendship- projects) - Like Moses, in this first try, he failed. - We are afraid of being rejected. Exodus 2:14. - Moses was so afraid of being rejected that he ran away from God 5 times.
Conclusion
- The two needs of Moses are ours as well. 01. Exodus 4:1-7 . The staff became a snake and it was leprous. 02. What is this? It is a demonstration of God’s power in our lives. 03. Exodus 3:14. I am sent me to you. I am= I am everything.
- It is the presence of God in our lives. - Revelation 1:17. Do not be afraid to live. I am the first and the last. - Revelation 1:18. Do not be afraid of death. He was killed, but lives. - Revelation 1:18. Do not be afraid of eternity. He holds the keys of eternity. - Last invitation: 01 . Throw it out all of the fear in your life. Jesus gives us victory over the fear. 02. Throw it out the fear of doing God’s work (Moses) Why? “I am with you everyday” “ It can’t be that there is so many in the church doing nothing and a very few doing too much.”
