Introduction

- Tied by the multitude, Jesus went to a boat to teach.

01. A fisherman works everyday.

- There are two types of fishing. The professional one. And the entertainment one.
- In here, Jesus refers to the professional fishing.
- Jesus calls us to a constant work. That’s why he classed fishermen
- The fisherman wakes up early or sometimes he doesn’t sleep.

02. The fisherman goes to the sea.

- The “sea of life” is a dangerous place.
- Illustration: Peter in the mount of configuration.
- The valley demands patience, perseverance.
- “Where the place is darker, the light of the candle appears better”

03. The fisherman knows that the sea is tricky.

- Illustration: Pr. Nilson’s fishing.
-Matthew 10:16. The favorite food of the wolf is sheep.
- Careful with Satan’s tricks, which is compared with a hungry lion.

04. The fisherman doesn’t worry about the results.

- Luke 5:10b. “... all night and we didn’t catch anything ...”
- It is frustrating, but it is necessary to go.
- Detail: In the net come a lot of different fishes. Believe that the Holy Spirit can transform.

  Conclusion

Luke 5:11. “...leave everything ...” to follow Jesus.
- The boat was the greatest material need that they had, their lives depended on it.
- Invitation: Begin to follow Jesus today.
