The church is a corporation of men and women redeemed from sin to serve Christ. To serve Christ is the greatest desire of the members of the church of Christ. When we lose the idea that we are servants and we become our brother’s judges, we are losing our characteriscs of Jesus' disciple.

One time, a man said to his pastor that he would leave the church because there were too many imperfections there. And what church are you going to? asked the Pastor.

I don’t know, I’m still looking for it, said the brother.

I’ll give you advice, said the pastor: Don’t seek a perfect church, because this church doesn’t exist. And if it existed, it would become imperfect as soon as you become a member.

What shows that we are disciples of God is not perfection even though we are born again , the goal for perfection is not the person of Jesus Christ, but the love and the zeal we have for each other.

One time, a sister of the church got a bible that looked like hers. When she started using it, a paper fell from the bible and on it was written the following:: “People that I am paying for”. A list of four or five names among her name. How happy and excited this sister was when she saw her name on the list.

We should pray for each other. God moves heaven and earth to respond to each prayer. When we pray for our bothers and sisters, we are the first ones to be blessed.
