| The Ideal Church - (09/12/04)

I would like to illustrate what God wants us to be His people in the church.
| 01. | The church is the meeting of the best investors. It’s the group of men that invest their lives, their time, their goods, and aptitudes in the Kingdom. It’s a meeting of those who “do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.” (Matthew 6: 19-20 ). |
| 02. | The church is an agricultural cooperative. A cooperative that “plants” the Word of God on each land; that gears the believer to have more and more happiness in planting, that fights the harmful plagues, “that goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, returning with songs of joy carrying sheaves with him.” ( Psalm 126:6 ) |
| 03. | The church is the hostelry for the ones hurt by life. It’s the spiritual hospital for the afflicted and deformed by the conflict of life. It’s a place of refugee for the broken hearted, where they receive care, relief, peace, consolation, hope, power and all we need. |
| 04. | The church is the island of love on this ocean of hate. It’s an oasis for the soul in this desert which is the world. It’s a spiritual home for the sinners “where there are the lonely ones in families”. (Psalm 68:6 ) . |
| 05. | The church is the meeting of the healed ones who came back in gratitude. It’s the community that came to God to please Him and give Him glory for the salvation, praising God with adoration and gratitude. |
| 06. | Has our church been like this? You can help us to be a church like this. When you become like this, we’ll be much closer to the ideal church. |
