A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO PROTECT MARRIAGE

Traditional marriage between a man and woman is the God-ordained building block of the family and bedrock of a civil society. Therefore, we urge your support of a Federal Marriage Amendment to protect traditional marriage between one woman and one man.

We the undersigned urge Congress to pass this constitutional amendment and to send it on to the individual states for their approval.

Leviticus 18:22 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.'

Leviticus 18:28-30 'Everyone who does any of these detestable things-such persons must be cut off from their people. Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the LORD your God.'

Leviticus 20:13 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.'

Genesis 2:22 'Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.'
Note: "... and he brought her to the man." Not him

Genesis 2:24 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.'
Note: "... a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife , ..." NOT his husband.
