Music is a gift from God; He gave it to us and we return it to Him with worship and praise. He is the Composer, the Great Maestro of the Universe and we are His musicians. To truly worship the great Maestro and Lord of our lives, we need to be tuned-up for the great symphony.

Worship and adoration are expressions that emanate from the deepest levels of Christian truth. Like faith and love, words alone could never depict their full character. We believe that worship is the physical expression of a spiritual attitude; it is the acknowledgement and celebration of God as supreme and worthy. God is the center of all. Music is a vehicle that can bring us to many places.
Music can dramatize, underline, and breathe life into our words and emotions as we lift our voices in praise, adoration, and thankfulness. Music will help drive us into the presence and power of the living God in a sweet, sublime, and divine way. Yes, divine.

The Music Ministry of Kearny Baptist Church is developing and using our God-given gifts and talents as instruments of adoration, proclamation, fellowship, education and service in order to facilitate praise and worship, to edify and encourage the church, and to evangelize and reach out to the community.
