PASTOR
The pastor will direct the public services of the church and zeal for the spiritual area. He will be orienting all commissions and organizations of the church. The pastor will be the Moderator of all sessions.
MUSIC MINISTER
- Full-time dedication in the function of conducting the music in our religious services seven days a week. - Preparing order of services for marriage ceremonies and funerals. - Preparing cantatas for Easter, Christmas and other special occasions. - Teaching music and voice to enhance the choir in our church - Giving spiritual, technical and emotional support to the choir members and other musical groups of the church. - Rehearsing many groups of music in the church as quartets, duets and band. - Working with the children’s choir of the church. - Visiting people who are ill at hospitals and in their homes. - Ministering music seminars in the programs conducted by our church.
DEACONS
- The committee is composed of a minimum of 3 people, being men or women. - The qualities to fill this position are found in I Timothy 3: 8-13. - Spiritually responsible for supervising all the ministries of the church. - Prepare and distribute the Lord’s Supper. - As it says in Acts 6:1-7, they need to be qualified to help the pastor in the spiritual care of the church. - Good biblical knowledge, good testimony and capacity of leadership his home as well as the church. - Should take care of the pastor’s table, it means, the pastor’s material needs. - Should be careful in speaking and ready to listen. - Elected for a period of 2 years in the Church’s Assembly and they may be re-elected.
TRUSTEES
- The committee is elected for a period of one year in the Church’s Assembly. - Responsible for taking care of the church’s patrimony. - Responsible for counting the weekly tithes and offerings and depositing the amounts in the church’s account in the bank. - Responsible for keeping the office of the church and the treasury's update of the amounts deposited. - Responsible for the commercial transactions in the church as selling, buying and renting. - Work together with the treasury doing a three-month financial written report that should be taken to the church. - Prepare a monthly written report for the pastor with the expenses of each account. - Responsible for taking care and fulfill the budget proposed by the church in Assembly.
DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
- Elected by the Church’s assembly in a two year base. - Responsible for all Religious Education Activities. - Work together with the pastor for the spiritual growth of the church.
SECRETARY I
- Elected annually in the Church’s Assembly. - Responsible for maintaining the records of the church. - Responsible for writing the records in regular or specially called meetings. - Responsible for signing all correspondence sent by the church.
SECRETARY II
- Elected annually in the Church’s Assembly. - Responsible for helping and substituting for the first secretary in his or her absence.
VICE-MODERATOR
- Elected annually in the Church’s Assembly. - Should be one of the deacons. - He will substitute for the pastor in his absence.
TREASURERS
- The church will elect annually the first and second treasurer. - Responsible for making the payments of the church. - Record receipts and expenses of the church. - No check should be sent without the authorization of the trustees, with two signatures.
MISSION AND EVANGELISM COMMITTEE
- The members of this committee will be elected in the Annual Assembly of the church - Responsible for promoting missions during the whole year. - Plan and promote the missionary conferences in the month of October. - Should stimulate the church to be faithful in its “Promises of Faith” - Should update the church about the supported missionaries.
USHERS
- Elected in the Annual Church’s Assembly. - Work on the schedule prepared by the leader of the group. - Responsible to be at the front door, receiving all people, greeting, welcoming and providing seats together with the bulletin.
MULTIMEDIA MINISTRY
The multimedia Ministry is of 2 parts: SOUND SYSTEM AND MULTIMEDIA.
SOUND SYSTEM
The department is considered a ministry of support and it is especially important in the service process. A well balanced sound brings security and favorable environment for adoration to the congregation as well as to the leaders.
• It’s important to be there 15 minutes before the service starts to turn on the equipment, microphones, check the batteries and make the necessary tests. • Be extremely careful with the church’s sound system. • Turn off the sound system equipments at the end of the services. • Collect the wireless microphones from the platform and keep them in the appropriate place in the sound system room. • Make routine tests checking the wires. • Verify if the batteries are enough, if not, inform the Music Ministry with a one week notice. • Record the messages that are preached in CDs, to be distributed to the congregation when it is ordered. • In Special Events as Christmas Cantatas, prepare the sound system according to the needs and occasion, as well as participate in the rehearsals. • In Special Events outside of the church, the sound system person should provide with the sound system transport. • The sound system room should remain closed and well organized. • Avoid the presence of people inside the Sound System room. • One component of the group will be responsible for preparing a schedule and give it to the other components.
MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM
The multimedia department is composed by 2 groups of people that work in harmony: the ones that work directly with the projector and the ones that translate the messages.
Translator:
• The translator should receive the messages via e-mail. • Responsible for translating and sending to its respective partner as well as to the church’s office.
Projector:
• The projector should receive the messages from the translator and put in the Power Point format. • It’s important that this person be in the temple 15 minutes before the service starts so they may turn on the projector and start projecting the announcements. • Be extremely careful with the equipment. • The leader of the group will be responsible for preparing a schedule and giving it out to the group
COUPLE’S MINISTRY
- The components will be pointed by the Commission of Indication and elected in the Annual Assembly. - The Indication Committee will point a leader for the group. - Responsible for coordinating the programs for families, organize the meetings and the Annual Couple’s Meeting.
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
- The people in this ministry will be indicated by the Committee of Indications and elected in the Annual Church’s Assembly. - Responsible for organizing the programs for the church, trips, spiritual retreats and special dates.
